Bakor's plant in Petrolia, Ontario was the first plant to manufacture SBS modified roofing membranes in North America. Since then, we have completed millions of square feet of roofing throughout the continent.

modifiedPLUS® roofing is generally a two-ply system incorporating a base sheet and cap sheet. The membranes can be installed using cold adhesives, heat welding or conventional asphalt.

SEBS 890-12 Kettle Modified Asphalt

Multiply built-up roofing (BUR) systems have the longest history of any roofing system available today. Today, Bakor's polymer modification of conventional mopping asphalt has brought BUR systems into the high tech world. Re-Cover Board

Re-Cover roofing is a cost-effective method of applying a new roofing system over an existing one in lieu of total roof replacement.

Re-Cover Board can be installed over existing smooth our built asphaltic composition roofs using mechanical fasteners, hot asphalt or cold adhesives. It essentially acts as a separation between an existing roof and a retrofit roof and acts as a substrate for the new roofing membrane system. Unlike fiberboard, Re-Cover Board is moisture-resistant and offers a surface with high puncture and impact strength.
