The most important aspect of any green roof system is its ability to protect your building by keeping water out. This is why Bakor incorporates the use of its flagship membrane 790-11 Hot Rubberized Membrane in our Green Roof System.

790-11 Hot Rubberized Membrane

A two-ply, fully-adhered and monolithic membrane provides the best membrane performance available.

• Time-proven system: 790-11 was first used in 1967. Since then, millions of square feet have been installed in waterproofing and roofing applications throughout North America and Europe.
• Exceptional performance: 790-11 is a rugged, flexible membrane having unsurpassed adhesion to the substrate in a joint-free impervious application.
• Environmental grade: For a more environmentally-friendly grade, choose 790-11 EV containing at least 25% post consumer recycled content and is packaged in recyclable cardboard boxes.

DBR Root Bloc^TM

The DBR Root Bloc™ system provides a root barrier/ water retention/ drainage layer material in a complete Green Roof System.

• As a root barrier: DBR Root Bloc^TM does not contain any dangerous pesticides or herbicides. Specially treated fabric is strategically located at the soil level to protect the drainage plane and insulation from root damage.
• As water retention: DBR Root Bloc^TM contains prefabricated storage cores to reduce storm water runoff and provides moisture for the growing medium.
• As weration & drainage: DBR Root Bloc^TM contains channels to provide aeration for the soil and maximizes excess water drainage.

Typically DBR Root Bloc^TM 50 is used for extensive applications with grasses / small plants with a non-aggressive root system.

Typically DBR Root Bloc^TM 100 is used for intensive applications with larger plants/ trees with a more aggressive root system.
