Blueskin^® WP 200 Waterproofing Membrane

Blueskin^® WP 200 is a self-adhering, composite membrane consisting of an SBS rubberized asphalt compound which is integrally laminated to a blue, high density, cross-laminated polyethylene film. The membrane is specifically designed to be self-adhered to a prepared substrate providing a high performance waterproofing barrier.

Steps to a Successful Blueskin^® WP 200 Application

Before starting FOILSKIN® application ensure that all joints in the duct, plenum or piping are completely sealed so that there is no air leakage. The FOILSKIN® jacketing, when completed, will be weather and airtight. If there is air leakage in the metal ductwork, pressure may build up below the surface of the FOILSKIN® and "billowing" or "blistering" of the FOILSKIN® may occur. The surface of the FOILSKIN® jacketing may appear uneven and result in loss of membrane adhesion.

Primer is applied to prepared substrate by roller or spray.	Silicone treated release paper protects adhesive side of sheet.
Step 3	Step 4
Blueskin® WP 200 is set into position.	Once in place, release paper is removed and sheet is pressed against substrate.
Step 5	Step 6
All laps and sheet surfaces are rolled.	Top edge and laps at changes in plane, are sealed with POLYBITUME® 570-05.
